Roast, do not harass
This tool is built for friendly roasts between people who are in on it. Only upload someone who has agreed. Lyrics that turn into hate, threats or violence are not allowed, and we decline photos of real celebrities.
A good diss is specific and affectionate underneath: it picks on a habit, not a person's body or identity. Think "your fantasy team has been in last place since week two", not anything that could genuinely hurt.
How it works
- Get your friend's okay, then upload one clear, front-facing photo.
- List two or three real habits in the topic box: the late arrivals, the burnt toast, the 11 p.m. gym membership.
- Keep Drill selected for a cold, clipped delivery, or switch to Meme for a softer roast.
- Edit any line that goes too far or not far enough.
- Generate and share the 12-second clip in the group chat.
Which style roasts best
| Style | Sound | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Trap | Rolling hi-hats, heavy 808s, melodic flow | Flexing, hype intros, "main character" clips |
| Boom bap | Dusty drums, steady head-nod tempo, lyric-first | Storytelling, wordplay, tributes |
| Drill | Dark, sliding bass, clipped confident delivery | Roasts, battles, serious faces |
| Meme | Bouncy, silly, built for the punchline | Pets, inside jokes, birthday clips |
Roast ideas that work
- Birthday roast: three habits plus one compliment at the end.
- Fantasy league loser: punishment video for last place.
- Office farewell: gentle ribbing about the printer and the 9 a.m. standup.
- Sibling diss: the thermostat war, in 12 seconds.
For a two-sided showdown, see the AI rap battle page: make one clip per side and post them back to back.
Tips for a roast that lands
Specific beats generic every time. "You still call the microwave 'the beeper'" is funnier than "you are old". Lead with the weakest habit, put the best line last, and add one genuine compliment if the audience includes the target's family. Always show your friend the clip before posting it widely. If they wince, edit the lyrics and regenerate; edits are cheap and friendships are not.
Cost
